Luke 12:49-53 I Came To Cast Fire On The Earth

Jesus said He came to cast fire on the earth, not to bring peace, but rather to cause division. But this passage doesn't mean what it first sounds like. These are words of encouragement to remain steadfast in the faith because of what Jesus has done for you. But since we are all sinners, and some do not want to hear the Gospel message, there are unintended consequences. It creates division between believers and non-believers, even in the same family.
